How to: Shorten a Zipper (quick and neat way!)

Today I have a new tutorial prepared on how to shorten a plastic zipper! I recently showed this technique on my Instagram and figured I would share it here, too.

This technique is very simple and easy to do, but gives beautiful and - most importantly - secure finish to a shortened zipper. This technique is suited for plastic zippers, so do not use it on metal ones - there's a different technique for it!
